Sustainability

FORMÉS Sustainability Report

Luxury that doesn’t rush. Materials that don’t pretend. Craft that can last a lifetime.

At FORMÉS, sustainability isn’t a separate project - it’s the way we build every piece: fewer steps, better materials, slower decisions, and jewelry made to stay with you for decades.

A Short Supply Chain

We design and craft each jewel in our family atelier in Vilnius, refusing mass production in favour of small-batch, one-by-one making. Keeping creation close helps us stay responsible with materials, quality, and daily decisions - and reduces the “invisible miles” that come with outsourced production.

It Can Be Mended

A sustainable piece is one you don’t replace.

We stand behind our jewelry for the life of the piece, and if something needs attention, we assess it in-studio. If it’s a manufacturing defect, we repair or replace when necessary. For non-warranty issues, we’ll always confirm the repair cost before doing anything - because transparency is part of respect.

It Takes Time

Fast is easy. Fine isn’t.

Every FORMÉS jewel is made by hand with a workshop team built over decades - jewelers and engineers with long experience in luxury manufacturing, working with modern technology and traditional craftsmanship side by side. We choose time because time is what makes a piece feel right - and what makes it last.

Recycled Gold Preference

We strive to work with recycled gold every time it's available - refined back to impeccable purity, so nothing is compromised: not the colour, not the strength, not the finish. Choosing recycled precious metal helps protect finite resources and reduce unnecessary extraction.

Diamonds, Chosen With Care

We offer two options - and we keep the standard uncompromising either way:

  • Lab-grown diamonds: selected to be CO2 free, for premium cuts and high clarity/colour standards, and part of our brand’s core for years - innovation that honours beauty while aiming for lighter impact.

  • Responsibly sourced natural diamonds: added for clients who want that story - with an emphasis on transparent origins and internationally recognised certification for stones above 0.30ct.

Certification matters to us: diamonds above 0.30ct are verified by IGI or GIA (and you also reference HRD across your materials). Every piece comes with authenticity documentation.

(You also state that your natural diamond suppliers follow frameworks such as the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme and World Diamond Council System of Warranties, and reference Responsible Jewellery Council alignment.)

Packaging That Doesn’t Overstay

We keep packaging elegant and intentional - using recycled and responsibly sourced materials, because “gift-worthy” should never mean “wasteful.”

People Over Mass Production

Sustainability is also human.

Behind every FORMÉS jewel is a tight team of makers - master jewelers, engineers, and technologists - built over decades, with fairness, collaboration, and pride in craft at the centre. When you support a piece made this way, you’re supporting skilled work that can’t be automated into meaning.

Daily Improvements

We’re not perfect - we’re committed.

From reducing paper use to refining how we ship and how we source, sustainability lives in the small operational choices made every day. We stay alert to industry innovations that genuinely reduce footprint (not just add marketing language).

In short: FORMÉS sustainability is fewer steps, better materials, long-term care, and craft built to outlive trends.
